A fast, mobile-first marketing site for a Vancouver Island group-transportation company, built around a dynamic “Get a Free Estimate” booking form. Visitors build a complete trip — event type, group size, vehicle preference, and a multi-stop pickup & drop-off schedule they extend stop-by-stop — and every request lands straight in the operator’s inbox for a same-day reply.
A field-service application built for septic professionals. Technicians log maintenance visits from the field, keep every property’s systems and service history organized in one place, and generate clean, client-ready reports — a system health score, component-by-component condition, and a plain-language executive summary — in a couple of taps.
The operating system for the whole business: a complete CRM with client health scoring, alongside documents, contracts, estimates, invoicing, and built-in email — all wired to a retrieval-augmented (RAG) knowledge-base copilot that answers from your own records, drafts correspondence, and surfaces the right context exactly when you need it. Rainshadow Systems didn't start in a tech incubator. It started as a passion for doing things right. Our founder came up through oil rigs, iron works, and commercial mechanics — industries where precision matters and shortcuts get people hurt. When physical conditions demanded a change, that same discipline carried forward into software and AI.
That background isn't incidental — it's the foundation. Having lived the long shifts, the paper-heavy admin, and the daily grind of industries that technology tends to overlook, the mission became clear: build tools that actually serve the people doing the work.
Small businesses and blue collar workers are consistently underserved by technology. The software is too expensive, too generic, or built for someone else entirely. The name comes from the land we work on. A rain shadow forms when coastal mountains wring the storm out of Pacific air, leaving the valleys on the lee side — like the Comox Valley — clear and dry.
